The Pelars modular system was presented for the first time in the US at Maker Faire San Mateo (Bay Area) at the Arduino Education stand where the latest educational devices and technologies were showcased for attendants to try.
The Arduino/Genuino team was happy to show and share the latest physical computing developments for education made in collaboration with other organisations. It was also the first time that the Pelars kit was showcased outside Europe were it was originally developed and funded. The number of attendance at Maker Faire Bay Area 2016 is around 150 000 visitors so the stand was busy most of the time with people having fun combining, connecting and programming the modules.
PELARS project has received funding from the European’s Seventh Framework Programme for research technological development and demonstrations under grant agreement 619738.
